Malibu to Newport

July 14, 2011: We arrived in Malibu in time for a late lunch at the Marmalade Cafe.

Snowy Egrets were roosting in the trees:

We had clear "sailing" down the coast to Santa Monica:

On the eve of "Carmageddon," the 10 crept toward downtown LA and the 5 was not much better until we reached Buena Park.
